Our Story

Tolemac came into existence to offer inspiring and amazing holidays which provide unique insights and experiences. We certainly aren’t like most travel companies that you’ll find on the high street or internet.

How we got started

Inspired by his travels around the globe, and from working with the renowned self-empowerment author and thinker Stuart Wilde, Tolemac is the brainchild of Tom Lishman.

After gaining expertise working in the events industry, Tom realised his passion was for creating holiday experiences that people would love for their unique nature and holistic possibilities.

The destinations and holidays we offer at Tolemac are hand-picked and tailored to ensure we cater for all our guests’ needs.

We are experts who care deeply about the places and cultures we provide the chance to experience and what we offer can’t be found on the usual tourist merry-go-round. 

Over the years we’ve created a network of great destination contacts and trusted overseas partners which ensure Tolemac holidays are out-of-the-ordinary.

Many of Tolemac’s trips offer the potential for self-development health improvement, whether through talks and workshops or yoga and meditation, or even just by walking and swimming. The choice to participate is, of course, completely up to guests.

Our holiday philosophy

We deliberately pick places with amazing natural atmospheres, with the emphasis being on peace and tranquillity as well as delicious food.

Guests are encouraged to engage in activities which promote health and well-being, but they can also simply enjoy being on their own, or perhaps with friends and family, with all their needs catered for.

We endeavour to ensure they return home refreshed and revitalised, and hopefully looking at life in a more positive and creative way.

Our deeply personal touch means many of our guests return year after year, whether to the same place and on the same type of trip, or with the intention of experiencing something completely different somewhere else.

Amazing, exquisite venues are selected in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Holland, as well as Ecuador and Peru.
